Hi All, This video is all about our trip to Germany's most beautiful town Garmish partenkirchen.🇩🇪Hope you all enjoy this video😀💙 History: The Partnach Gorge is located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, 700-meter-long, 80-meter-deep natural wonder formed by the Partnach river cutting through Triassic limestone. Originally used for timber rafting in the 18th century, it was developed into a tourist attraction between 1910 and 1912, declared a natural monument in 1912. Formation: The gorge was formed millions of years ago when meltwater from glaciers and the erosion of the Partnach stream cut into the alpine limestone. Info: Tickets for gorge (approx. €10 for adults, €5 for children) can be bought online or at the entrance.The hike through the gorge takes about 30-45 minutes, but allowing 1-2 hours for the total trip is recommended.
