If you wondered why I hadn't covered the Swatch x Dragon Ball Z collaboration yet, it's because I've been waiting to buy this, the numbered full box of all 8 watches from the collection! Presented together in the Limited Edition Set, it's a perfect example of Swatch doing what they do best. It's been a bumper year for Swatch, from the Omega MoonSwatch collaboration, to introducing the line with Dragon Ball Z; with the 7 initial watches followed up by the Shenron Big Bold very recently. However, the ultimate collection comes in the form of this highlight limited box that was in extremely high demand. In fact, demand was so high that over 1,000 people entered per box available in the UK and somehow we got lucky enough to purchase one. I say we; the luck fell with my girlfriend but here it is in all its glory. Carrying a high price tag at £870, they were snapped up in minutes because as usual for a new Swatch collaboration the level of detail and thought into the project is unbelievable. It turns out also, that the set I've got is actually the one that was originally on display at the flagship UK Swatch store on Oxford Street - it couldn't get any better for an item in my Swatch Collection.
