To bring the age-old stories to life, the Beirut-based troupe—one of the Middle East’s most established dance companies—adds lavish silk costumes, a rich score fusing Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade and Ravel’s Bolero with traditional Arabic instruments and melodies, and a multitalented cast of more than 40 performers.
