Hiking Mt. Giluwe Vlog: Part 3 ⛰️🇵🇬 Welcome back, adventurers, to the third part of our Mt. Giluwe hiking series! 🌄 If you’ve been following our journey, you already know the breathtaking beauty this majestic place holds. After the incredible experiences in Parts 1 and 2, we embarked on Day 3 with high spirits and a sense of awe as we woke up to one of the most stunning views imaginable❤️ Our day began with the serene sounds of Mapel River and the mesmerizing sight of waterfalls cascading around us. It truly felt like paradise, a place where you could forget the world and be completely surrounded by the embrace of nature. After soaking in the morning beauty, we enjoyed a good breakfast, fueling us for another exciting day of Hiking🥰. As we continued our hike, we passed the historic Two-Man Cave, sadly destroyed by a landslide. Despite this, the journey was filled with awe-inspiring views of the Mapel River winding through the savannahs, which we fondly refer to as grass. The waterfalls tumbling into the river created a scene so beautiful that it felt like stepping into a painting🥹. We followed the Mapel River's banks, gradually making our way toward the savannahs nestled between Mt. Giluwe's mountain ranges. Leaving the river behind, we began our Hiking, catching glimpses of the highest peak, covered in fog yet breathtakingly magnificent🤍. Walking through the savanna grasslands, we found ourselves in the heart of Mt Giluwe, a valley surrounded by mountains and crowned by the peak of Mt. Giluwe. It felt like we had stumbled upon heaven itself, with every step offering new views more stunning than the last😍. As the day turned to dusk, we reached the Imbo Ombel Cave, a place rich with history and mystery, where animal and human bone remains silently tell tales of the past. We settled in, cooked a delicious cuscus for dinner, and enjoyed the warmth of a crackling fire. The night was cozy and welcoming, compared to the cold night we had experienced before.⛰️ As my fellow adventurers drifted off to sleep, I found myself gazing out from the cave, reflecting on the unforgettable journey. The anticipation of reaching Mt. Giluwe's peak tomorrow filled me with happiness and excitement❤️. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey through Mt. Giluwe!
