A week in the Tobeatic Part 3

This last leg of our eight day trip across the #Tobeatic was #bittersweet. I finally felt #confident that we would not only do what we set out to do, but we would completely it by Friday morning. Friday was our original conclusion goal and we made it while taking TWO days to that we didn’t travel! Wow After leaving North Bingay we had a very #challenging and #wild route ahead. I loved this section, the #forest felt so different in this area and I loved #paddling through, not so much #slogging through when the water petered out in some parts of our route. Huge #erratics continued to invited us to #explore them. Wednesday was beautiful as we #travelled from sun up to nearly sun set, 14 hours. We felt it near the end of the day but throughout the day we took our regular #coffee breaks and enjoyed the #beauty, it helped break up the long day of travel. We encountered #rain, #sun and #wind. We did hard things and were rewarded with experiencing parts of Nova Scotia that many will never see. I was so proud, so #happy and not really ready for it to end!
