On February 28, 2025, Peter Gruss (President Emeritus of the Max Planck Society and of OIST) was our guest and dedicated his lecture to the “remarkable moment in healthcare” in which groundbreaking technologies are revolutionizing our understanding of ageing and longevity. The cell and microbiologist showed how technological innovations are driving this revolution and how their integration is changing our ability to diagnose, treat and prevent major health problems. He looked at specific tools and methods that are making personalized medicine and regenerative therapies not only possible, but increasingly viable for widespread application.
