Clinical benefits of a novel non-resorbable membrane: Experiences with permamem® in GBR

Prof. Windisch is Head and Chair of the Department of Periodontology of the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. Since 2010, he is Chairman of the Hungarian Society of Periodontology. During the webinar, he presents the evolution of PTFE barrier membranes in Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) and Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). Specifically, GBR procedures with different types of non-resorbable membranes are addressed with special focus on a new high-density PTFE membrane (permamem®). permamem® is an exceptionally thin, non-resorbable barrier membrane composed of high-density polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
