2023 Goodman and Late 80s Arcoaire Air Conditioners Starting Up & Running

You may remember these units from previous videos I've made of this place. Here's a video I got last year of the new 2023 Goodman and vintage 1980s Arcoaire Snyder General air conditioners starting up. The Goodman sounded pretty rough, but it's a rotary compressor in a central unit, so I'm not too surprised. The Arcoaire, on the other hand, sounded absolutely amazing! That old Bristol H21A was just musical. Probably one of the best sounding recip startups I've heard. That unit's data sheet was completely faded, and the compressor tag was too rusted to make out, so the date of manufacture is unknown. But it is likely from the late 80s, as that's when these buildings were built. Both these units seemed to be working well. Enjoy! Recorded 7/14/2024 © Dilch Productions 2025
