Part 2 of our Mae Hong Son Loop adventure in Northern Thailand and the journey keeps getting better. After tackling more of the 2,000+ curves that make the Mae Hong Son Loop famous, we explored deeper into the mountains where we discovered incredible nature trails, had a surprise snake encounter, and visited a traditional Long Neck Karen tribe village. This part of the loop showed us a completely different side of northern Thailand — remote mountain roads, lush jungle scenery, and unique cultural experiences. To end the adventure, we stayed somewhere completely unexpected… an igloo-style mountain stay tucked away in the hills.
