Brandon McPhee – Press release for tour Brandon McPhee is a 20 year old accordion virtuoso, already acclaimed for his unsurpassed skill on the Button Box Accordion; he has won multiple awards for his prowess on the accordion including the All Scotland Senior Accordion Championship and has been tipped to inherit the mantle of the late Jimmy Shand. Jimmy Shand Jnr stated that ‘Winning the Jimmy Shand Shield at Perth was a great achievement – my father would have been delighted for him.’ Brandon has had multiple appearances on television and radio and has released a number of CD’s. Set to tour Northern Ireland with his band and special guests, TV and Radio Broadcaster, Hugo Duncan ‘The Wee Man From Strabane; Queen of Country, Philomena Begley; Mick Foster from Foster and Allen and Crawford Bell. Brandon plans to treat his audiences to the Bluebell Polka and a host of outstanding renditions of Scottish Traditional Music with some Country Music thrown in for a great night. On his first visit to Northern Ireland Brandon will be appearing at the McNeill Theatre, Larne (Wedneday 30th November), Millbrook Lodge, Ballynahinch (Thursday 1st December), Strule Arts Centre, Omagh Friday 2nd December) and the Millennium Forum, Londonderry (Saturday 3rd December).
