This was a fun one. Why? I gots new stuff, so I was having a good time getting it dialed in to, hopefully, not sound like @ss. I seem to have my usual recording "outfit" on, LOL! I feel like XYZ was a victim of the 90's. This song is what the kids these days call a "banger"! The guitar riff is epic and the vocals fall in that fabled area somewhere between Robert Plant & David Coverdale. The video was quintessential 80's, long-haired rockers, roaming thru the desert, coming upon a group of hotties that are doing a bunch of stuff that hot chicks wouldn't be doing, in the desert, LOL! Bassist Pat Fontaine, who bears a striking resemblance to Mike Tramp from White Lion, lays down a super solid, bluesy, greasy, fat bass line that, along with the solid drumming of Paul Monroe, holds up this classic 80's hair metal banger!
