Some protesters chanted "No More Chavez!" while others wore T-shirts with the slogan, the rallying cry of organisers who used network web sites Twitter and Facebook to get out word of the demonstrations. Several thousand protested in Colombia's capital waving flags, while thousands also took to the streets in the capitals of Venezuela, Peru and Honduras.
