Pan of anti-Chavez demonstrators with signs STORYLINE Opponents of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez held protests on Friday in cities across Latin America denouncing the leftist leader. Some protesters chanted "No More Chavez!" while others wore T-shirts with the slogan, the rallying cry of organisers who used network web sites Twitter and Facebook to get out word of the demonstrations. Several thousand protested in Colombia's capital waving flags, while thousands also took to the streets in the capitals of Venezuela, Peru and Honduras. Some said they were protesting against growing authoritarianism by Chavez, while other said he should stop meddling in other countries' affairs. Chavez, who was travelling in Syria, called the protests "stupid" on Thursday, likening Micheletti to a gorilla.
