Hi everyone, this is my week 17 assignment piece for the #2022CWP challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller ( see below for details). When I read the prompts I knew right from the start what I wanted to create for this page and it all fell into place from there really. I hope using the shoe-car image wasn’t cheating too much but then these are fun collages for us to interpret as we want.... or that’s what I like to believe.... and it fit the bill perfectly for the idea I had in mind. So our prompts this week were: A shoe ~ I went with the shoe-car image A circle ~ I used both eyelets and different sized images of orange slices. A map ~ easy that one. Just a piece from a redundant OS map of Lancashire. A tool our grandparents would have used ~ My grandad was a farmer so I chose an old wooden handled scythe. Something postal ~ I went for three Customs Declarations forms and an Air Mail stamp. Lastly ( and the bonus prompt) one of the above elements torn apart ~ I decided to tear up my map and glue it randomly to the page. I have to say I absolutely loved doing this page and whilst I felt at the end that it needed something more, I had no idea what. If you do, then please suggest away......lol.
