During the more 30 years I've been teaching I trained over a 1.000 students in my own school M.A.T.C.H. and during international seminars. I started my Martial arts career with Judo and jiu jitsu where got my black belt, after that I started with shootfighting and finally he entered the world of Jeet kune do and Filipino Martial Arts. These styles of Martial arts had it all. Filipino Martial Arts are a perfect blend with other Martial Arts styles. Mainly because Filipino Martial Arts, like eskrima are a weapon based system. This means that you always think from a weapon. Even if you don't see one, always expect a weapon. That is the thinking in Filipino Martial Arts. Fighting with a weapon requires a different mindset, although the similarities with other forms of martial arts outweigh the differences. That means that FMA blends perfectly with other forms of Martial Arts. Now it's my mission to show every one the beauty of these dynamic and effective forms of Martial arts.
