This is an unboxing of the ASUS ROG Strix 750G - 750W 80 plus gold rated power supply. It is one of the best series of 80 plus gold power supply you can possibly get. Packed with great current ratings out of the hood and backed with 10 years warranty, this PSU is surely designed to perform and give you the ultimate peace of mind for your (gaming) system. Built on the well known and reliable Seasonic Focus design, ASUS redesigned the heatsinks, capacitor layout on the modular board and used their award winning Axial Tech fan. The result? Even superior performance than the stock Seasonic platform. There is a button on the backside which can control the fan mode. Releasing it prevents the fan to spin altogether unless when required thus ensuring an absolute quiet operation. Turning the button in the depressed position allows the fan to spin always and result in lower temperatures. The fan even under load is barely audible and ASUS seems to have done a great job in the cooling department. Having redesigned the capacitors The variants available are: 550W, 650W, 750W and 850W. During my unboxing as you can see, I noticed some of the ROG stickers were missing. I contacted ASUS and my retailer and was provided the stickers in nick of time.
