Following the success of the first "Hidden Pearls" compilation released on Get Physical, this time round the tracks reflect the meditative, experimental and unorthodox side of the artists on the Kindisch roster. Raz Ohara's "El Zahir" is a hypnotic hybrid of acoustic and electronic sound, guitars and voices underpinned by a slow thumping kick. "We Will Stay Together" by Pepe Acebal is a dark and unsettling trip, lifted by a smooth vocal with an infectious hook. "No More" is a masterful dubbed out house track, Jon Sine using echoing synths and pitched vocal snippets to create a spacious, laid back groove. Cipy takes a more upbeat approach to dub infused house on "And the Warmth Comes Up", complimenting his detailed sound with a delicate, almost whispered performance a vocal performance from Kara Square. "Hidden Pearls" is a collection of left of centre tracks for all fans of Kindisch, especially those looking for depth and experimentation in their dance music.
