Hi everyone, hope you keeping well. So whilst I've been busy repairing my golf I decided to make a full DIY video on my intercooler and pipework setup. This is a simple and very effective diy guide to installing a front mounted intercooler with simple tools and has been trailed and tested for over 4 years on my hybrid turbo golf gti and works a treat. Here is a list below of all my bits and pieces I used for this setup, the only bits that will need to be modified or custom made is the charge pipe and boost map sensor pipe. Intercooler - Toyosports - 600 x 300 x 76 Creations Motorsport intake to intercooler silicone pipe 63mm stainless steel custom charge pipe 63mm aluminium pipe 90deg elbow 63mm x 2 (1of these is for boost map sensor) aluminium pipe 45deg elbow 63mm x 1 aluminium straight pipe 100mm x 2 silicone 90deg elbow 63mm x 1 silicone 45deg elbow 63mm x 1 silicone 90 deg elbow reducers from 76mm to 63mm x 2 (intercooler) silicone straight reducer from 63mm to 51mm (turbo) Note: (use swagged ended pipes to eliminate boost leak issues) Genuine stainless Jubilee clamps to ensure tight grip. 2 x 70mm to 90mm clamps 15 x 60mm to 80mm clamps Thats pretty much everything, enjoy the video.
