Cycling in Poland 2021, Nowy Targ - Trstena P.1

There is already very popular Velo Path around Czorsztyńskie Lake. There is also another one from Nowy Targ in Poland to Trstena in Slovakia. I'd like to recommend you latter one on my videoclips. Nowy Targ – Trstena is about 35 km long, and leads mostly thru local peatland, called in highlanders' dialect Great Emptiness. Unlike Czorsztyńskie Lake path, this one is one continous line of the smooth tarmac. While riding around Czorsztyńskie Lake you'll need to repeatedly lose and find it again. I mean - to find it without help of any kind of signs or anything. And that one is very good if you like crowd of other riders around you. As you can see on video - riding from Nowy Targ to Trstena is rather for those looking for contact with pure nature only, excluding people rather, though they usualy are considered part of the nature as well. I've been there in 2019, and 2021 – each time with perfect weather for cycling – every time surprised, how very few oder riders I've met. This path is not challenging with climbs, although you still can enjoy great Tatra Mountains panorama. You'll need to cross only 3 or 4 public ( not busy ) roads. None within large section between Czarny Dunajec and Trstena.
