Marella Voyager Day 5: A morning at sea and a Funchal afternoon

The weather was poor in the morning: blustery, wet and with noticeable swell, although Voyager handled the cobditions well, IMO. As we sat in The Kitchens we watched the pilot boat approach and be thrown aroud by the waves. Nearer the harbour, two tugs approached and were also doing the old 'rock and roll'. I was very glad not to be in the crew of any of them! After an interesting manoeuvre into the berth the rain stopped so we set off to walk into Funchal. Today we wanted to see how much had changed and how much we would still recognise from our only previous visit in 2016. The Christmas lights started to come on around 6pm, when we made our way back to the ship. A quick dinner in The Kitchens let us see that night's Show, which was pretty good but not the best that week. I hope you enjoy the vlog.
