Permanent keratin straightening is a process applied to make hair that is particularly frizzy and difficult to control smoother and straighter. Also known as Brazilian blow-dry, this process straightens the hair for a long time while also providing repair. Here are the application stages: 1. Hair Analysis and Preparation First, we analyze the hair structure of our model. We determine whether the hair has been chemically treated before and how damaged it is. Then, we wash the hair with a special purifying shampoo to clean it deeply. This shampoo cleans the dirt, oil and residue in the hair, allowing the keratin to penetrate the hair better. 2. Drying and Separating the Hair After the hair is completely dried, it is divided into four main sections. This separation ensures that the process is applied equally to each area. 3. Keratin Application We apply the keratin product equally to each strand of the hair with the help of a fine-toothed comb without touching the roots too much. The combing process is very important for each strand of the hair to absorb the product thoroughly. With a waiting period of 30-40 minutes, keratin is thoroughly absorbed into the structure of the hair. 4. Drying and Blow Drying the Hair After the waiting period is completed, the hair is dried at 80% at low heat. Then, the hair is pre-straightened with a blow dryer and a round brush. 5. Pressing (Straightening Process) This stage is a critical step for ensuring permanent straightness. Each strand of hair is pressed at least 7-10 times with a 230°C ceramic or titanium straightener. This process ensures that the keratin protein is completely fixed to the hair strands. 6. Resting Period and Washing The hair should not be washed or styled for 24-48 hours. During this period, the hair should not be bent, clamped with clips or elastics. After the resting period, the first wash is done with sulfate-free shampoo. 7. Final Touch and Care Recommendations After the first wash, the hair naturally becomes straighter, shinier and healthier. To increase permanence, it is recommended to use sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo. After the procedure, the hair remains straight and well-groomed for 3-6 months. With this method, frizzy and unshapely hair gains a smooth, straight and healthy appearance for a longer time.
