Mango Cream Cake

This recipe is close to my heart because this is the first frosted cake that I sold when I was just starting to bake. My original recipe used butter icing which I later changed into whipped cream icing which is lighter and easier to make. The secret to a good mango cake are sweet, ripe and plump mangoes. This cake is delicious and not so difficult to make if you can do a chiffon cake. Best served well chilled. I hope you will enjoy this Filipino classic cake! I have many recipes to share with you.
