Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter Take a full tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter during the spectacular Triwizard Tournament event, running from 15th May to 8th September 2025. Experience every area of the tour, from the Great Hall to Gringotts Bank, highlighting seasonal features, live shows, special effects, and key scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the fourth book and film in the series. Join us as we explore the original sets, props, costumes, and interactive experiences that bring the Wizarding World to life. The tour begins in the Great Hall, dressed for the Triwizard Tournament with floating candles, themed desserts, and costumes from the film. Watch as Mad-Eye Moody halts the magical storm on the enchanted ceiling with his wand, just like in the movie. Next is the Interior Sets area, including the Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms, Potions Classroom, Dumbledore’s Office, and Hagrid’s Hut. We then explore the Forbidden Forest, where Harry appears beneath his invisibility cloak as Hagrid introduces him to the dragons. Meet Buckbeak the Hippogriff and face Aragog and his spiderlings deep in the woods. Next is Platform 9¾, the Hogwarts Express, and the Backlot, home to full-size sets like the Knight Bus, 4 Privet Drive, Sirius Black’s Motorbike, and the Weasleys’ Burrow. In the Greenhouse, repot Mandrakes and dodge the Venomous Tentacula. The new Backlot Stage hosts live special effects demos showing how the Hungarian Horntail dragon was created for the first task. Grab a Butterbeer or enjoy a meal at the new café. Then it’s on to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, where guests pass through the goblin-run hall before entering Diagon Alley to explore wizarding shops and supplies. Finally, visit the Hogwarts Castle model room, now with a light show recreating the first Triwizard task. Watch as the Hungarian Horntail chases Harry across the castle before he claims the golden egg. A day-to-night lighting sequence brings the model to life in spectacular detail. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 and is built on the actual Leavesden Studios lot where all eight Harry Potter films were made. It showcases the real costumes, sets, and visual effects that brought J.K. Rowling’s world to life. Leavesden is also the filming base for the upcoming Harry Potter television series from HBO, due to begin production in 2025 and premiere in 2026 on Max. The new series will star Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
