I am really impressed with the Jack Wolfskin Pack and Go! Series Windproof Down Jacket. At just 240grams (8.5oz) it's a fraction of the size and weight of my other down jackets, and just as warm - which makes it the perfect travel jacket. I initially put it on inside and I was HOT. I think it's great down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit (-5 Celsius), however you could strategically underdress it to go even colder. On the flip side it's a comfy jacket to throw over a t-shirt on a slightly chilly evening without overheating. The down is RDS-Certified which means it was responsibly sourced; VERY important if you're going to wear a down jacket.
