A tour of Ljubljana Castle | Slovenia

In this video I visit one of Ljubljana's top sights; Ljubljana Castle. This castle is really impressive and sits atop of a hill right in the centre of Old Town. I recommend allowing at least half a day to explore this castle properly. I took the funicular up to the top of the hill, this was an easy and convenient way to reach the castle. When inside the castle walls, you will find the main courtyard which has a really nice restaurant and café. This courtyard acts as a lively hub of the castle. It's definitely worth going up to the castle viewing tower as you get spectacular views overlooking Ljubljana Old Town and beyond. From here you can see a lot of the main sights in Ljubljana including Dragon Bridge, Tivoli Park and the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation. Going up the viewing tower and then watching the state-of-the-art 4D show were my favourite parts of my Ljubljana Castle experience.
