MIH (molar incisor hypomineralisation) affects one child in seven globally. Nevertheless, it is still difficult to find treatment options for the anterior region that are appropriate for this young patient group. DMG now has a new, gentle treatment option specifically for this purpose – presented for the first time at the IDS 2025. The effective treatment workflow takes a minimally invasive infiltration approach and combines it with medical bleaching and custom-fit bleaching trays using a 3D printing process.
