Universal Orlando Vlog l DAY 1 l Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure l Nov 2024

In this new Universal Orlando vlog, we spend the morning at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, have lunch at the NBC Grill & Brew Bar and enjoy dessert from the Cold Stone Creamery. We are joined by our friend, Liam, Tracey survives Doctor Doom’s Fear Fall and we demolish some Margaritaville Volcano Nachos. Subscribe for future videos every Saturday at 5 p.m. Our day starts with the beautiful Garden Walk from Cabana Bay to the parks. Once at CityWalk we decide to head to Universal Studios. First up we try out the new Villain Con Minions Blast attraction. The queue is well themed and we found the attraction clever but a little confusing! As we continue into the park we catch the Blues Brothers show on our way to Fast and Furious – Supercharged. We leave the park and make our way to the NBC Sports Grill & Brew bar for lunch. Keith & Luke both go for chicken wings and Tracey enjoys the barbecue grilled chicken salad. After lunch we browse in the Universal Store, explore the Epic Universe Preview Center and share an ice cream from the Cold Stone Creamery. Our friend, Liam, joins us for the afternoon and we head into Islands of Adventure. After Luke and Liam ride the Incredible Hulk Coaster, we persuade Tracey to try Doctor Doom’s Fearfall. Whilst the speed of the initial launch takes her by surprise, she lives to tell the tale and we calm things down a bit with The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman ride. Next we ride Jurassic Park: River Adventure and then head to Hogsmeade. Keith kills time watching the Frog Choir show while the others ride Harry Potter: The Forbidden Journey. We make our way back over the bridge and through the Jurassic Park area to ride Skull Island: Reign of Kong. Once we get to Marvel Super-Hero Island, the boys persuade Keith to give The Incredible Hulk Coaster another go, even though he is concerned that it is too bumpy for him now. Sadly, he is right and feels that this was probably his last time riding it.
