For our 3rd stop on our road trip, we visited White Sands National Park in New Mexico and spent the day running through sand dunes and attempting to sled down them. For more of our journey visit: www.youtube/c/journeywithjendrew We had so much fun at this stop. These dunes are located in White Sands National Park outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico. We only spent around 2 hours here, but at the end of it we were exhausted! We visited in March, where it was a perfect temperature between 65-75 degrees F, but it still felt hot after a few hours of running about. We recommend going in a time other than the summer, as the park can get pretty hot. Fun fact: no matter the temperature, the sand dunes will always stay cool because gypsum does not absorb heat from the sun.
