Almost anyone has something they care deeply about, even if it's just their favorite sports team. Dig around and ask them about their passions. What gets their hearts thumping? They will love to have a conversation about that. 4. Future plans. What are they up to this weekend? Any vacation or plans for the summer? I have found that people love to have conversations about what they are looking forward to. People get very excited about their future plans and you're very likely to get them to open up a bit if you ask about what is coming down the line for them.
