In this global business world, you can no longer be successful by knowing a lot about just one other culture. Now you need to know how to hit the ground running in virtually every country. In this series of videos, U-M Professor Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks explores the cultural differences in the workplace and business between the US and the rest of the world, and how Americans can be more cognizant of those differences, learn to adapt and become future global leaders. ABOUT THE PROFESSOR: Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks (http://www.jeffreysanchezburks.com/) is an Associate Professor of Management and Organizations at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business (http://www.bus.umich.edu/). His research reveals how culture shapes how we think and work with others. He has published broadly on cultural variation in people's approach to negotiations, creativity, collaboration, communication and conflict. His research has been used to develop leadership training, executive and MBA education.
