Sensory activities like this can be really fun for kids, exploring light with flashlights, electric candles, your phone flashlight and mirrors is really fun. I've had 1 year olds just shake flashlights around, put them in their mouths (totally fine) and notice the light in the mirrors. The book is a good way to spark that, but once watching this video, you can find lights and mirrors in your own home and go to town! With children under one, just find a safe place to put out some small unbreakable mirrors (there are really light ones you can find) and flashlights, maybe a couple positioned in different ways over the mirrors so they can see the possibilities, and then just let them go! This activity is good for children ages 0-5 (or older!)
