I am so thankful for this kind of friendship where you write letters, meet once every six month and it still feels like you've talked to and know eachother for decades. It's nuts. So we were both so exited when the day finally came and I owned a high quality camera, we had this completely yellow room, started to play music and immediately had that connection. It was so enriching on both sides. It was magical. So with this video I don't want people to think "Oh man this girl is on a bad Horrortrip" - even though I am clearly aware that this will be most likely the case. But what I felt and saw while editing this video, was a young woman, lost, anxious, afraid, overwhelmed in this universe. Stuck between worlds of old and new, fast and slow, colorful and black and white. It's like you found this tape in the basement of your weird aunt, you watch it and look at her with different eyes now. For me this is a frightening, chaotic and beautiful respresentation of our f*cked up world, where you're supposed to know what to do, where to be and WHO to be and you just try to figure it out and completely lose yourself trying.
