I make a Custom Rebar Hammer and weld a Steel Wedge into the Handle to give it the rustic, tough look. It is quite heavy as it weighs 6.3 KG (13.9 Pounds). The total length of the rebar hammer is 420mm (16.5 inches), a nice MIG welding project. I wanted to make something out of rebar that would catch your eye and maybe be one of those rustic art projects that everyone wants to touch. Time will tell if it is good enough, but I am very happy with it, and it is easily one of my best metal art projects. The total length of the rebar hammer is 420mm (16.5 inches) Main tools used: Welding Magnets, V-Pads, MIG Welder, Angle Grinder, Grinder, Alpha Steel Files. Always use all the correct safety gear, and use your tools safely. I am not a good role model for this. The Brand of the Drill bits and cutting/flap discs, is "Alpha" If you can't get them at your local hardware shop, here is a link to Alpha Tools: https://alphatools.com.au ►►Subscribe to our Channel for more videos ►► http://bit.ly/2ULxLJogavinclark Always use all the correct safety gear, and use your tools safely.
