VLOG | A cozy & luxurious stay at Calcot & Spa - Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I’m sharing a recent weekend getaway to Calcot & Spa! We were lucky enough to win a night stay with a three-course dinner, breakfast, spa access, and gym access! We have eaten at Calcot before, but we had never stayed before, so we were super excited! We spent the Saturday afternoon in Tetbury, which is part of the Cotswolds and an area that we love visiting. We went into a few shops and had a delicious lunch at Cafe 53. We then went on to Calcot! Our room was spacious and lovely, the staff were so thoughtful and attentive, the spa was calming and restorative, and the food was simply divine! Plus, the location is perfect! We also walked around the grounds at Calcot, and despite it being a chilly and dark day, we loved seeing the autumn color, and, thanks to Tom's binoculars, we spotted some deer, a bird of prey, and some pheasants! The next day, it was very rainy, so we went for a short walk in the grounds again, and then got cozy by the fire in their lounge area! We ended our time with a delicious lunch at The Hive (the more causal food spot/cafe at Calcot). If you have never been to Calcot before, we highly recommend it (The Hive is very reasonable and so is the afternoon tea, if money is tight for you). It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway in the Cotswolds! We are so grateful to have won the experience! Shoutout to David, Sara, and Eve - some of the wonderful staff members!
