In this video, I go into detail about how I trained for the Atlas Stone event at the Strength Camp Challenge, without using Atlas Stones! Without having access to the right equipment, I basically reverse engineered the lift into different segments and trained each part of the lift individually. This is NOT a preferred method for training for Atlas Stones. Obviously, the best thing to do in that regard is to get your hands on some actual stones. But if you're itching to compete in strongman and don't have the right equipment, this could be a useful guide to getting you able to lift Atlas Stones. If you already have access to Atlas Stones, this video could be useful for giving you an idea for the kinds of accessory movements you should be doing.
