Summer Camping in Idaho- First camping trip of the season 2023

What felt like an eternity of winter, we were finally able to go on our first camping trip of the season. We chose Pine Flat Campground because it was only one and a half hour drive from Boise. We also wanted to test out our new 6 person pop up that we got from Costco which is very spacious and it's great to be able to stand up and move around in the tent. We drove 30 minutes North to Lowman's Nature Pond where we enjoyed watching the birds flying in the sky with the pond and snow capped mountains in the background. I could not resist and had to fly my DJI Mavic 3 to capture the beautiful landscape. I forgot to pack the gas cooker top so there are no food videos ;) (next time) We ended the day in Crouch, Idaho as we soaked up the sun, watched the beautiful cloud formations and dipped our toes in the freezing melted snow water along the river. We did see a few people kayaking and what looked like a contained wild fire in the distance which I was able to capture a hyperlapse of using my drone.
