BA-10
The BA-10 (Russian: Broneavtomobil 10) was a Soviet armored car developed in 1938 and produced until 1941. It became the most widely produced Soviet heavy armored car before 1941, with 3,311 units built across three variants: the standard BA-10, the BA-10M (an upgraded version with improved radio equipment), and the BA-10ZhD (adapted for dual railway and road use). The BA-10's design evolved from earlier models, the BA-3 and BA-6, featuring a reinforced GAZ-AAA chassis and upgraded armor (up to 15mm on the front and turret). Although plans were made to replace it in 1941 with the BA-11, which had a diesel engine and more advanced armor, the outbreak of World War II halted BA-11 production. The BA-10 remained in service with the Red Army until 1945.
