How a monochrome camera changed the way I take pictures | LEICA Q2 Monochrome Review

Usually this channel is about collaboration and working together in a digital world. But with all the effort we put into our daily work, sometimes we like to look for something relaxing that grounds us and gives us strength for upcoming challenges. For me, this is definitely photography. I love to roam the city and search for unique moments that I can capture within a photograph. Taking pictures in black and white has boosted my creative process in the past. It really focusses my mind on the essentials. To improve my creative photography process and boost it to the next level, I decided to go about it in the same way we do at Blackboat: by finding the right tool that fits best for our needs and for the needs of our customers. Much more than that, I fulfilled a personal dream of mine in the form of a Leica camera, more precisely the Leica Q2 Monochrome. With a pure monochrome sensor, I am able to get the best image quality for black and white photos. Unlike other monochrome cameras, the Leica Q2 Monochrome gives me the opportunity to take pictures in auto mode, for example when I have to be quick or only have one hand free. But in the end it is all about creativity and not about features. Ask yourself: do you feel creative flow when you are doing whatever it is you are doing?
