Understanding the Individualized Education Program

Frances Victory, Ph.D., C.P.C., is a Developmental Psychologist, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Speaker, and Certified Life Coach at Victory Coaching LLC. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Binghamton University. Her M.S. in Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University. She completed her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center. Dr. Victory’s doctoral training focused on understanding each individual as a product of the different forces within their Environment. Through the years she studied the variety of factors that influence a child with autism’s socialemotional skills; and examined the importance of professional development for teachers in parochial preschools. In addition, she examined the role of religion on the daily life, coping skills, and parenting of mothers and fathers of Jewish children with autism. She has enjoyed working with children with autism in a variety of different capacities such as early intervention centers, special education classrooms, and summer camp programs. Dr. Victory has used her fundamental knowledge of development and life coaching plus her years of teaching experience as a college professor, to create fun and interactive workshops for professionals and families of children with autism.
