Through Space and Time! (Title Theme DX) - Mario&Luigi: Partners in Time Remix Project

Aw shit, here we go again. Yes, I'm doing it. The old album was worse than the originals and didn't sound very remake-y at all, all while Nintendo making a true remake of Partners in Time seem less and less probable by the hour. I just didn't want to live in a timeline without a full, faithful remake of the incredible soundtrack of Mario&Luigi series' second entry, composed by none other Yoko Shimomura. This wasn't the choice of Steins;Gate at all, so after a few months of having it on my to-do list at all I began work on fixing this timeline, so to speak. So what is this project? It's going to be a full* recreation of Mario&Luigi: Partners in Time's entire soundtrack. My main goal is to create a create an album of what it would sound like if PiT got a Switch remake, while still staying mostly faithful to the original songs. About the remix itself: It's been a difficult one. The original's solo marimba melody just isn't very interesting instrumentation-wise (not that the devs could do any better given the DS's sound hardware), but since I'm not held back by the limitations of ancient sound chips, I spiced it up a little! If nobody cares and the videos go mostly unnoticed, I won't finish it, but if I can even make one person happy with this passion project, I'll try my best to remix every last one of them, even with my very limited supply of spare time to work on these.
