This video is an exciting one because I can say definitively that I have had one of my two setons (butt drains) removed! I'm so stoked you will be able to tell in the video. My mood is just at an all-time high! Nothing can bring me down today. I'm having a butt party and you're all invited. If you've been on this journey through Chronic Illness with me, then you know that I was diagnosed in early 2020 with complex perianal Crohn's disease. I had two setons placed, which has been less than ideal, and after MANY months of having them in I got one removed this week! I also have some super exciting news to share about the second one, but you'll have to watch the video to see that! For anyone out there suffering from Crohn's disease or chronic illness I feel you and I understand! It's painful, lonely, and filled with moments that test your faith.
