In this episode of Performance Profiles, we feature Tim Kish’s incredible 1932 Bantam Altered drag car on display in the atrium at Motor State Distributing. This lightweight race car is built around a 2001 Spitzer chassis and powered by a 6.0L iron LS truck block with a 4-inch stroker crank, upgraded rods and pistons, and a GM hydraulic roller valvetrain. Topping it off is a Magnuson 2650 supercharger, producing around 1,200 horsepower and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque in a car that weighs just 1,855 lbs with driver. 🏁 1/8 mile: 4.40 @ 158 MPH 🏁 1/4 mile: 6.91 @ 193 MPH Tim is also a multi-time Holley LS Fest Quick 16 Champion, and his engineering background with supercharger development helped shape this modern, reliable powertrain setup. If you love performance cars, custom builds, and the stories behind them, this series is for you. Each month we’ll feature a new vehicle and the enthusiast who brought it to life. 🏁 Explore performance parts and brands: https://www.motorstate.com
