Hey guys! This week on Peak Adventures come along with me as I introduce some new members to our family and take a boat ride to a resettled island. We welcomed ten, day-old chicks to our home this week! Noah and I have laying hens already but we had ordered our chicks a few days prior to getting our hens in a spur of the moment decision and who could say no to such cuteness? On Canada Day, my family and I leave Conne River and steam down the coast taking a quick gawk at Gaultois and Hermitage before heading past the resettled community of Grole and then finally landing on the resettled island of Pass Island. My grandfather takes us on his version of a guided tour as he grew up there. We chat with some lightkeepers before hopping back in our boat and heading for my uncle's cabin for a quick snack. There is no shortage of wildlife both on land and sea. Then we head home. Special thanks to my uncle Gary for taking us in his boat and for my grandfather for showing us a piece of who he once was. Also thank you to my mom, aunt Michelle, and cousin Robbi for the laughs and memories made that day. Morgan
