Their memorial is built in the Hussainiwala national martyrs in Hussainiwala village in ferozpur district of Punjab. But Not many people know that there is another memorial near the Hussainiwala national martyrs memorial. This is the memorial of Batukeshwar Dutt, who was born on this day in 1910 in Burdwan district of Bengal. He is best known for having thrown two bombs along with bhagat singh in the central legisttive assembly in New Delhi on April 8, 1929. After this Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged while Batukeshwar dutt sent to cellular jail, Andaman & Nicobar. Bhagat Singh had enormous respect for Batukeshwar Dutt. An entry on Page 67 dated July 12, 1930 in Bhagat singh's jail diary records batukeshwar dutt's autograph. Dutt also helped learned Bhagat singh learns bengali and introduced him to the poetry of Kazi nazirul islam. An Indian socialist revolutionary, Batukeshwar dutt met Bhagat singh while studying a college in what was then known as Cawnpore.
