First Damascus Steel From Scratch! No power tools or welding

This is my first upload in many years, big shift in content. As England went into its first lockdown I took up a new hobby that's been on my mind for many years. Inspired by Alec Steele and PrinceWorksForge via Instagram and many other various channels which involved DIY projects, I decided to start blacksmithing myself. I was lucky enough to find some vintage tools not too far from where I live, like the anvil featured in my video which I had obtained a year prior, and decided I'd jump straight into the deep end with no experience to see if someone like me could manage to muster up something useful. The very, very delayed gratification was worth it! I gathered my tools along the way as I did the project, resulting in many delays to finishing it, as well as running into issues which demotivated me to continue at one point.
