Yichun City, also known as the Forest Capital and Forest City, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province, People's Republic of China, located in the northern part of Heilongjiang Province. The city borders Hegang City and Jiamusi City to the east, Harbin City to the south, Suihua City and Heihe City to the west, and Amur Oblast and Jewish Autonomous Oblast of Russia to the north. Located in the southern section of Lesser Khingan Mountains, the forest coverage rate is high throughout the territory. The Heilongjiang River in the north is the Sino-Russian boundary river, and the Tangwang River, a tributary of the Songhua River on the left bank, runs through the entire territory. There are Hulan River and Yijimi River in the southwest, and Jiayin River in the northeast. Yichun City is an important forest industrial base in China, and its industries are mainly forest mining and wood processing. In 2005, the United Nations awarded Yichun City the honor of "Green Yichun, a model of urban forest ecological protection and sustainable development". Yichun has a long history. Before the Tang Dynasty, it was a place where ethnic minorities in northern Xinjiang worked and lived. The Tang, Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties implemented jurisdiction here. Large-scale development and construction began in 1948. In 1950, Yichun Forest Industry Administration was established, Yichun County was established in 1952, Yichun City was established in 1957, Yichun Special Zone was established in 1964, Yichun Region was established in 1970, and Yichun City was restored in 1979. [24] Yichun is an important forest ecological tourism area in Heilongjiang Province, with obvious advantages in tourism resources such as forests, geology, rivers, and air. There are as many as 72 geographical landscapes in the territory, among which the Tangwang River Forest Sea and Strange Stones, Jiayin Maolan Valley, Jiayin Dinosaur National Geopark, Langxiang Stone Forest, Taoshan Xuanyang Peak, and Nancha Xianweng Mountain are the most representative. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0:00 Preview 0:57 MAP route 3:13 Night driving Wucui District 13:58 Night driving Wumahe Town 17:53 Wucui Summer Wumahe Night Market 19:36 Yichun City New District Yimei District 52:00 Second day driving Daytime
