Repost since cooler weather is here! A cozy weekend day for me is baking, going to flea markets, and having a raclette dinner☺️ If you've never seen a raclette dinner before, you've got to try it! All you have to do is get different cured meats, raclette cheese, pickles, boil potatoes, bread, salade, etc! Then the machine melts the cheese on the bottom, and grills the potatoes on top. You pour the melted cheese over everything and voilà! If you click the link in my bio, l've added which raclette machine we used and recommend for your raclette dinner! If you click the link in my bio, I have linked my Amazon page, where I list many tools that I use in the video like my raclette machine, pans, scales, tools, favorite baking books, etc. I also have my Shopmy page where I link similar vintage plates and bowls that l use, and my shopmy for similar outfits! Again, like always, I highly recommend using a scale for all recipes, as it ensures a better, consistent bake! Using cups for measuring is just not an accurate way to measure and can lead to baking tragedies Recipe Tiramisu - for about 2-3 people 2 eggs room temp (in France we use raw eggs, if you do not wish to use raw eggs, feel free to use pasteurized egg whites and yolks) 50 grams of sugar Pinch of salt Dash of vanilla extract 250 grams of mascarpone Lady fingers - homemade or store-bought (I'll add my other video of my ladyfinger recipe in my story!) @durosecoffee Optional liquor- rum, amaretto, or Benedictine Separate the eggs. Whisk the egg whites and salt till stiff peaks. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar till pale and ribbon stage. Mix in the mascarpone and vanilla till smooth. Fold in the egg whites. Also optional to add in some whipped cream if you'd like it even more light. Soak the ladyfingers in coffee and liquor if using, then layer with the cream. Put in fridge for a couple hours or overnight till set, then dust with cocoa powder before serving et voila, bon appetit!
