My salted caramel rice krispie treats with caramel bits recipe is easy and delicious! Melting caramel bits into the marshmallows and butter makes these treats extra chewy (in a good way), creating an amazing texture combination with the crispy, crunchy rice. Additionally, whole caramel bits are folded into the treats as they're pressed into the 8x8 mold, and storebought caramel sauce is drizzled over the top at the end, giving these bars 3 types of caramel. Although I was conservative with the salt in the video, doubling the amount will really give these a nice saltiness to balance out the sweetness. This would be a great dessert for Memorial Day, or any day.
