Calibrating the Tip in F120 and F123 Series Printers 🛠️ Overview: This video demonstrates how to perform both automatic and manual tip calibration on Stratasys F120 and F123 Series printers. Accurate calibration ensures precise alignment between model and support extrusions for optimal print quality. 🔧 Tools Required: Magnifier Caliper Utility knife 🔑 Key Steps Covered: Automatic Tip Calibration: Tap Tools → Calibration → Tip Calibration Tap Start under Automatic Tip Calibration Wait for the process to complete (may take up to 45 minutes) Manual Tip Calibration: Tap Tools → Calibration → Tip Calibration Tap Start under Manual Tip Calibration, then tap Print Remove the printed calibration part from the printer Use a magnifier to inspect all four sides and determine where the support material is best centered between the model boundaries Adjust the sliders for each side to match the optimal alignment Review Delta X and Delta Y values If either is outside the -0.002 to +0.002 range, tap Apply and repeat the calibration print Use a utility knife to peel off the top support layer Use a caliper to measure the layer height near the middle of all four sides If the average height is between 0.0095 and 0.0105, the calibration is complete If not, adjust the Z height using the up/down arrows, reprint, and repeat until the target range is met Tap Close to exit 🔔 Thanks for watching!
