Most of us know commercial aircraft nacelle and thrust reverser for it’s used to decelerate an aircraft during landing. However, nacelles and thrust reverser are not only used for landing but also to protect the engines. In addition, advanced acoustic technologies has supported the stringent noise reduction requirements and also enhanced the fuel burn reduction potential of the engines. In this series I am going to attempt to break down and demonstrate all of the components of the Nacelles system.
