In this episode, we (John & Tami) dive into one of the most iconic spots in Arizona—Slide Rock State Park. It was our very first visit, and wow… the place lives up to the hype. From the crystal‑clear water to the natural red rock “slides,” it’s the perfect mix of refreshing, scenic, and looks to be just plain fun. But too cold for us to try to slide through on our rumps! After soaking up the beauty at Slide Rock, we headed deeper into Oak Creek Canyon for a hiking adventure along the West Fork Trail. This trail is famous for a reason—towering canyon walls, lush greenery, and the sound of running water around every bend. We forged five creek crossings, each one adding a little splash, a little challenge, and a lot of charm to the journey.
